Hello everyone,

If you read my bio by now you probably already know I am a student in the English Language Department. Many of my acquaintances have been asking how to learn English faster and efficiently. Some also ask how can I use English fluently. So here is my blog content for you guys!

1. Turn everything to English

Practice makes perfect is the best quotes you should hold in learning English. By turning everything to English, you will unconsciously practice English every day. You can change your phone settings to English, start searching for Youtube content in English, asking google using English, listening to English songs, watching English movies with English subtitles, these small things will determine your improvement in English.

2. Find partners

The environment and your surroundings do affect your growth. Thus you should find a friend from foreign that speaks English. My suggestion is to engross your hobby and dive deep to search for people who also loves doing that. If you don't want to put an effort to search for native speakers, just ask your friend who has the same goal as you. Start gossiping in English, or talking about anything you usually talk to in English. Or if you are a shy blob like me, you could just talk by yourself. In the bathroom, while driving, just anywhere where there are no people that will judge you.

3. Focus on one purpose

Before you start walking too far, it's best if you have a clear goal. You have to set the reason why you are learning English. People who ask me tend to have so many goals at once. They wanted to speak fluently about their hobby while also thriving at TOEFL. If you really do want to improve faster, you should determine the most important purpose of learning English. Even someone who n wants to take an IELTS test study differently with people who study for TOEFL.

4. Take notes

Taking notes is so important. If you found difficult words, just write it down on a special book where all hard glossaries are located. If you are watching a movie, like for example when I watch Game of Thrones, there are some important words to the story that I don't understand. Since I love the story so much, I unconsciously search for the meaning in google translate immediately.

5. Enjoy the process

Doing all that seems a lot. Well, you should enjoy the process. don't think too much of your improvement because you will get better. Focus more on the process. As long as you keep doing it, even if it is a small effort, you will gain something eventually. Focus on what you have done. Not what you have achieved.

So that's all the tips from me. If you would like to discuss or ask me anything about learning English; or if you need intensive practice, teaching, and exercise, I'm also a private English teacher so feel free to contact me preferably to my Instagram.

Hope this thread would be useful to all of you :)
